At Ambitions my aim is for all pupils to experience the enjoyment of dance whilst developing strength, musicality, posture, style, discipline and confidence. In today's demanding world there is an increasing amount of pressure placed on children to participate and succeed in all areas. In such a competitive environment I hope Ambitions' pupils are encouraged to have confidence in all of the challenges they face.

Pupils at Ambitions study Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) tap and modern syllabi along with musical theatre, freestyle jazz and street dance, pointe work and conditioning classes. Pupils are continuously working hard to achieve the best in their chosen dance examinations.

Our exam candidates consistently gain high results in all examinations, most of you know many hours of practice are put in to achieve these high results and many more hours in order to stage our performances. The enjoyment and love of dance and the opportunity to show expression through movement is invaluable. Physical activity through dance and sport has been proved to be beneficial to all areas of learning.

Pupils at Ambitions also have the opportunity to audition for our Performance Troupe. Following extra rehearsals, these pupils have additional opportunities to perform superb standards of choreography in renowned venues world-wide. Our most recent trip had Ambitions Performance Troupe performing in Disneyland, Paris and it was a truly magical and memorable experience.

ADULT CLASSES We run beginners adult ballet and jazz classes plus intermediate/advanced level adult classes in ballet, tap and jazz. Additionally, we are running a NEW FUSION class. These are exciting new boot-camp style classes for adults, combining a fusion of strengthening, toning, and cardio workouts, occasional basic dance exercises promoting strong posture, tone and core stability along with flexibility and yoga-style movements.
